AEMC L411 AC Current Data Logger — 1-Second Trend Resolution with Integrated Flexible Sensor

The AEMC L411 captures True RMS current measurements every second — the same data density you'd get from a power analyzer — in a portable, battery-powered logger you can deploy in minutes and leave for weeks. For load profiling, demand analysis, and energy audits where longer-interval loggers miss the short-duration spikes that actually matter, the L411 closes that gap.

Measurement & Sensor

The integrated MiniFlex® flexible Rogowski coil wraps around conductors without breaking the circuit, covering a selectable range of 300 A or 3,000 A (measuring from 0.4 A up to 3,600 A AC) with ±1% accuracy. Installation is fast and non-intrusive — clamp on, press two buttons, and the logger is recording. A magnetic mount and notch hanger keep it securely placed inside panels and enclosures, and the unit is rated CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V for safe use in industrial electrical environments.

Data Recording & Storage

All 1-second trend data is stored on the internal 8 GB microSD card (up to 200 recording sessions) and accessible through AEMC's free DataView® software for visualization, charting, and Excel export. For shorter projects, the normal recording mode delivers about 3 days of continuous 1-second sampling on AA batteries. For long-term studies, the extended mode stretches battery life to approximately 10 weeks using 15-minute aggregation intervals — or plug in via USB for continuous, uninterrupted operation with no recording gaps.

Wireless Connectivity & Remote Access

The L411 includes a built-in web server with Wi-Fi connectivity. In Access Point mode, it broadcasts its own network so you can connect from a phone or tablet, view live readings, and configure recordings through a browser — no app or software install needed. Switch to Station mode to connect the logger to your facility's Wi-Fi network and enable DataViewSync™ for secure remote access from anywhere with an internet connection.

Common Applications

  • Feeder load trending and demand analysis
  • Energy audits
  • Commissioning and verification
  • Predictive and preventive maintenance
  • Solar PV current monitoring
  • Troubleshooting intermittent current issues
  • Remote data collection
