The HOBO Weather Station Starter Kit provides a turnkey solution for monitoring temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall out of the box. For researchers and facilities that need to expand beyond a basic setup, HOBO's modular smart sensor architecture allows additional sensors to be added to existing HOBO stations and remote monitoring systems — including SAE and metric rain gauges, ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensors, barometric pressure sensors, solar radiation sensors, and more. HOBO's MicroRX cellular monitoring stations provide cloud-based data access via HOBOlink with real-time alert notifications, making them well suited for remote weather monitoring locations without regular site visits. Battery-powered and solar-powered configurations are both available.
