Vaccine Monitoring Kits
Proper vaccine storage requires continuous, documented temperature monitoring — and the consequences of an undetected excursion can be devastating, including loss of an entire vaccine inventory, patient harm, and significant financial liability. MicroDAQ carries CDC-compliant vaccine monitoring kits from HOBO InTemp, LogTag, Lascar, and Berlinger FridgeTag, all designed to meet the recommended guidelines for safe vaccine handling and storage set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
All of our vaccine monitoring kits include glycol buffered probes for accurate fluid-simulated temperature measurement, NIST-traceable calibration certificates, and the documentation required to meet VFC program requirements. Options are available for standard refrigerator monitoring, freezer monitoring, and ultra-low temperature monitoring for mRNA vaccines requiring storage at -70°C or below. Wired, wireless WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity options are all represented, with cloud-based and app-based data access available depending on the model.
For facilities monitoring multiple units or requiring real-time alert notifications, HOBO InTemp's gateway-connected system and LogTag's WiFi-enabled kits provide continuous cloud monitoring with automated alarm notifications via email or text — eliminating the need for manual log checks. Dual-sensor kits are available for larger refrigerators or freezers where documenting temperature at multiple points is required. For vaccine transport, LogTag's UTRED-16F kit is specifically designed for documenting conditions during off-site vaccine administration events.
