Data Loggers Used in Museum Preservation

Preservation of artwork, artifacts & other collections requires a stable climate to prevent deterioration. Digital data loggers can be a very useful tool in preservation management. Data loggers measure & record the environmental conditions of the exhibit. Data can be viewed in real-time on the LCD screen, downloaded to a computer for analysis & some allow you to view the data on & download to a mobile device. Alarms for environmental conditions out of the ideal range can be viewed on the data logger. Some of these data loggers can even send an alerts for alarm conditions via text or email.
