Hi. Does this equipment come with a certificate? Does the equipment need to be calibrated if so how often? Is your company ISO accredited? Our lab is looking into purchasing equipment to monitor light.

No, this, as with most of the loggers we sell, don’t come standard with a calibration certificate. The calibration certificates we offer only validate the accuracy of the devices. The devices will work as specified whether a calibration certificate is purchased with it or not. Customers are able to specify the frequency of when their calibration certificate expires however most choose to recalibrate their devices annually. Our in-house calibration lab is ISO accredited, however light calibrations aren’t in our ISO scope, nor can we even perform them. For this device we could perform the calibration for temperature and/or humidity in our ISO scope. For any other sensors, the logger would need to be calibrated by the manufacturer in Switzerland. The lab they use is ISO accredited, however, for the parameters of light, shock and vibration, and many other parameters, they only claim to be compliant with ISO. This is because these parameters are outside of their scope, but they still have the ability to perform them.
