is it waterproof?

The MSR 165 logger comes with a housing that is rated IP67.  This means it is protected against dust and the effects of temporary immersion between 15cm and 1m for a duration of up to 30 minutes.

Please note that this refers to the body of the logger itself.  Some of the optional external sensors are not designed to be submerged.
