What is the difference between the MX801 and MX802?

The MX801 is fully submersible (IP68, waterproof to 100m with sensor attached) and is deployed directly in the water along with the sensor. The MX802 is designed to remain above the water surface while the sensor is deployed underwater via a cable, allowing you to offload data without disturbing the sensor deployment. Choose the MX801 for fully submerged installations and the MX802 for fixed installations where the logger needs to stay accessible above the waterline.
