Will this unit send SMS alerts to temperature fluctuations? Is there any better details as to this units abilities? Like maybe a setup guide? Thank you

This device will send you SMS alerts if an alarm condition is met only if you use the optional EasyLog Cloud Service from Lascar.  There is a basic plan available for one logger and email only alerts for free or you can also purchase the paid plans that give you SMS alerts and other features.  The plans are very inexpensive.
