Would I be able to measure the energy output of a 1 kw wind turbine as well as wind velocity and direction continuously for 18 hrs at desired intervals.

You could use this as long as they offer a sensor input that would work with the output of your turbine and wind velocity and direction sensor.  It is designed to be used with the Onset accessories that are shown on the accessories tab.
