The Wireless Alert Pro series from Lascar Electronics are robust remote monitoring devices that send alarm notifications by email in the event of an excursion. The WA-PRO-TC accepts K (included), J, or T-Type thermocouple sensors to monitor temperature. These small, simple devices can be used on their own or in conjunction with your existing data logger. This is a great option for adding remote alarm notifications to your existing data loggers or in any application where you need to know if temperatures go above or below a set limit. Setting up the device couldn’t be easier using the step-by-step guide in the free FilesThruTheAir app, which is available for Android and iOS platforms. Setup involves simply entering your contact email address, connecting to your existing WIFI network, and selecting your upper and lower temperature limits. Whenever the device detects temperatures above or below the limits it will send a notification email to the configured address as well as flash a visual LED indicator. The app can be set up to send scheduled summery reports that include min, max, average, power status, and alert information by email. All this without the needing to pay for a cloud or alarm notification subscription plan. With the included K-Type thermocouple sensor it can monitor temperature ranging from -200°C to +1190°C and is powered via AC using a USB-C power adaptor.
