Overview of the HOBO™ MX20L-04 Bluetooth Water Level Data Logger
The HOBO™ MX20L-02 from Li-Cor is a low-cost, research grade water level and temperature data logger with Bluetooth connectivity. With a measurement depth of 0 to 13 feet, the MX20L-04 supports a wide range of applications. Robust plastic housing makes it ideal for both fresh and saltwater applications. Bluetooth connectivity eliminates the need to plug your logger into a base station or shuttle to offload recorded data. Instead, simply connect to the logger wirelessly in the field and use the free HOBOconnect app available for both Android and iOS devices. The MX20L-04 water level data logger utilizes a unique magnetic key fob that wakes up the logger and activates the Bluetooth communication for configuration and data download. The key fob comes with an attached lanyard to help prevent losing or dropping it while in the field.
The factory replaceable battery has a typical battery life of up to 3 years when a 1-minute sample rate and Bluetooth always on. Battery life will increase to up to 10 years with a 5-minute sample rate with Bluetooth and LED off. The high-quality ceramic pressure sensor is very durable and able to withstand freezing.
