The easy to use MSR147W2D wireless data logger is ideal for remote monitoring of temperature and humidity. This can be of great benefit when testing the material and construction properties of functional clothing, for example. The temperature and humidity sensors, which are available in different cable lengths, can be easily attached to the body of a test person and the physiological parameters determined, such as skin temperature and moisture level can be conveniently accessed online via WiFi/WLAN.

2. Select the sensors.

Sensors measuring air pressure and 3-axis acceleration (static) are available as internal sensors. Five connections (IP 60) for plug-in, external, pre-calibrated humidity and temperature sensors in cable lengths of 0.20 m, 1.00 m or 1.60 m and a cable diameter of 2.2 mm (black cable, up to +75 °C). A cable diameter of 1.2 mm (white cable, up to +200 °C) is available on request.

A router will be needed if your MSR147W2D device is incorporated into a separate WiFi network or if measurement data is to be sent to MSR SmartCloud via a mobile network.

The cloud solution managed by MSR Electronics GmbH records data measured by MSR data loggers in a database. Through online access to MSR SmartCloud you are able to gain insight into your measured data, manage it, and create alert messages. When ordering the MSR147W2D data logger you will automatically receive the access code to MSR SmartCloud.

Mounting Instructions for MSR Shock and Vibration Data Loggers

The data loggers should be force-fitted as close as possible to or on the object to be monitored. Fastening to the packaging or the means of transport will lead to deviating results.

Screw the data loggers to the object at the holes provided. Alternatively, the data loggers can also be fastened with high-strength industrial adhesive tape or cable ties. Magnetic fastening should be avoided. It only acts in the direction of the magnetic field lines - it is not force-locking.

Orientation

Align the Axes of the data Loggers with the main direction of movement. The data loggers can be mounted in any position. Make a note of the position and direction of the axes for later evaluation.
