MSR175Pro Shock and Climate Data Logger for High-Value and Heavy-Duty Transport

The MSR175Pro shock and climate data logger (model 175B54T6H3P5AA6L3PRO) delivers complete transport condition monitoring in a single IP65-rated, ruggedized housing. Ideal for high-value cargo including industrial equipment, machinery, aerospace components, medical devices, and any freight where both physical and environmental conditions must be documented, it simultaneously records mechanical shock and impact loads alongside temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, and light exposure — giving you a full picture of what your shipment experienced from departure to destination. The integrated 3-axis acceleration sensor offers selectable measuring ranges of ±10g, ±20g, or ±40g, with sampling rates from 4 Hz up to 4,000 Hz. Anti-aliasing, decimation, and high-pass filters ensure shock data is clean and free from gravitational or motion interference. The MSR175Pro stores over 2,000,000 measured values, including up to 1,000 shock events in a ring buffer plus an additional 1,000 events in a tamper-proof auxiliary memory that cannot be overwritten. Climate sensors monitor temperature (-20°C to +65°C), relative humidity (0–100%), air pressure (0–2,000 mbar), and light (0–83,000 lx) — enabling you to detect condensation risks, temperature exceedances, and unauthorized packaging openings. The replaceable Li-SOCl₂ battery provides a minimum 2-year operating life. The included MSR175 software package features the MSR Dashboard for easy configuration, MSR ReportGenerator for automatic report creation, and MSR ShockViewer for detailed shock event analysis.

Customer Questions
What does the light sensor add for transport monitoring?
The light sensor records lux levels throughout the journey. A spike in readings is a reliable indicator that a sealed container, case, or packaging was opened during transport — providing tamper evidence independent of the shock record.
How is position logged?
The MSR175Pro measures static acceleration in all three axes at configurable intervals (10 or 30 minutes) to log the device's orientation over time. This helps identify tilting events or improper cargo positioning during transport.
What is the humidity sensor accuracy?
The humidity sensor achieves ±2% accuracy in the 10–85% RH range (at 0–40 °C) and ±4% in the 85–95% RH range — suitable for detecting condensation-risk conditions and verifying compliance with storage and transport specifications.
Can the MSR175Pro be used on air freight?
Yes. The MSR175Pro is listed on approved electronic device lists for ANA Cargo and JAL Cargo (Japan) and is approved by Cargolux.
How long does the battery last?
The replaceable Li-SOCl₂ battery provides a minimum of 2 years of operating life. The battery is user-replaceable in the field.
Do I need the climate version, or will the standard model work?
If your primary concern is mechanical shock documentation, the MSR175Pro Standard is the right choice. If your shipment crosses climatic zones, involves ocean or air transit, or requires documentation of environmental conditions for compliance or liability...
