Overview of the HOBO MX2205 TidbiT Temperature Data Logger
The Onset HOBO MX2205 is part of the TidbiT series of loggers and is designed to record temperatures in underwater or wet environments. The MX2205 builds on the standard Tidbit MX logger by adding an external sensor. This allows the logger to be deployed just above the water or soil surface, making it very convenient for downloading via the wireless Bluetooth connection. The MX2205 is perfect for monitoring water temperature in streams, lakes, and wetlands. It’s also a great choice for monitoring soil temperature in fields that are prone to flooding. Recorded readings are stored on the device until the data logger connects to the HOBOconnect app via Bluetooth (BLE) or Windows HOBOware software program.
