Overview of the Onset HOBO MX2306 Soil Moisture Data Logger
The HOBO MX Soil Moisture Data Loggers are the first and only low-cost, fully integrated soil moisture data loggers with Bluetooth wireless data offload. The MX2306 is ideal for researchers and growers looking for accurate data used to save water, improve crop yields, reduce harmful runoff, and protect ecosystems.
Using only a mobile device or Windows laptop running Onset’s free HOBOconnect app users can easily and quickly setup the logger and offload data via a wireless Bluetooth connection. With up to 100 feet of wireless range accessing the logger is easy and convenient even when used in hard-to-access field and greenhouse locations. When used in indoor areas, such as a greenhouse, users can add the MX Gateway (sold separately) for remote access and alarm notifications using the cloud based HOBOlink software.
