Overview of the HOBO RX2106 MicroRX Indoor Remote Monitoring Station
The RX2106 is an easy-to-deploy, reasonably priced, remote monitoring system with cellular connectivity. The RX2106 is designed for long-term, reliable monitoring of indoor conditions in warehouses, cold storage facilities, data centers, museums, commercial and residential buildings, and more! Cellular connectivity and battery backup ensures that your alert notifications come through loud and clear even in the event of a power outage. Transmitting data via a cellular connection also allows you to monitor locations that don’t have network access and/or use in areas of high security where access to a network isn’t possible. The RX2106 provides you with a scalable solution that can be expanded as your requirements increase. At its heart is the RX base station which has 5 smart sensor inputs that can be used with an extremely wide range of external research grade, plug-and-play sensors from Onset. Additionally, the device comes with an integrated HOBOnet manager which can be used with up to 50 wireless HOBOnet sensors. Configurable alarms trigger immediate notifications of critical conditions, and compatibility with Onset’s HOBOlink cloud software platform makes it easy to view, access, and share data. The RX2106 requires a data plan which is sold separately.
