Overview of the Reed Instruments R4700SD-KIT Data Logging Environmental Meter Kit
The Reed R4700SD-KIT includes the R4700SD Data Logging Environmental Meter, 16 GB SD Memory Card, and an AC Power Adapter. At the heart of the kit is the R4700SD Data Logging Environmental Meter which is a 6-in-1 environmental meter that measures air velocity, air temperature, ambient temperature, relative humidity, light, and contact temperature measurements. Additionally, the R4700SD can record sound when used with the optional R4700SD-SOUND adapter. The R4700SD features data hold, max/min functions, and an easy-to-read backlit LCD display. Air velocity is measured in m/s, ft/min, km/h, mph, or knots and temperature in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. The R4700SD can manually record up to 99 readings or automatically by selecting the desired sample rate from 1 to 3600 seconds. Raw data can be directly transferred from the SD card as an Excel file which can be viewed without needing any additional software. Optional accessories include a tripod and AC adaptor for continuous long-term monitoring.
