Overview of the Reed Instruments R2970 Type-K Pipe Clamp Thermocouple Probe
The Reed R2970 is a Type-K pipe clamp thermocouple probe that is designed to easily grip pipes for temperature monitoring and recording applications. The clamp features a spring-loaded jaw which ensures a secure grip on pipes up to 1.4” (35mm) in diameter. The R2970 can measure temperature ranging from -40°F to 392°F (-40°C to +200°C) and has an accuracy of +/-3.6°F (1.8°C). The R2970 is compatible with any Type-K thermocouple data logger with a mini thermocouple jack.
