Overview of the Reed Instruments R4000SD Data Logging Vane Thermo-Anemometer

The Reed R4000SD Data Logging Vane Thermo-Anemometer measures air velocity, air temperature, and has a built-in contact thermometer. The R4000SD features automatic temperature compensation, data hold, max/min functions, and an easy-to-ready backlit LCD display. The R4000SD can manually record up to 99 readings or automatically by selecting the desired sample rate from 1 to 3600 seconds. Raw data can be directly transferred from the SD card as an Excel file which can be viewed without needing any additional software. Optional accessories include a tripod and AC adaptor for continuous long-term monitoring. The R4000SD is an ideal choice for HVAC/R and refrigeration monitoring, detecting filter blockages, and servicing condensers and chillers.

The R4000SD is also available in two kits. The R4000SD-KIT, which includes an SD memory card and AC power supply while the R4000SD-KIT2 adds a tripod as well.
