Overview of the Supco LPT Pressure & Temperature Data Logger

The LPT is part of the LOGiT series of data loggers from Supco and is designed for measuring pressure and temperature using external sensors. The LPT can measure pressure from 0 to 500 PSI and temperature ranging from -40°C to +170°C. The logger uses an external pressure sensor with a ¼ MPT fitting. The logger can be used while connected to a PC for real-time data viewing or as a stand-alone data logger. The LPT has onboard memory that can store over 10k data points. Data is viewed and the logger is configured using the LOGiT Software and LINTU interface (both sold separately – Part # LLSU). Recorded data can be viewed in the software or exported as a .CSV file. Sample rates are user selectable from 1 second to 18 hours.

Customer Questions
Are the transducers able to be used on potable water applications?
The pressure sensor on the logger can be used on anything with a 1/4" NTP fitting.
Can the pressure sensor collect ambient air pressure (barometric pressure)?
The Supco LPT logger can only record gauge pressure.  It will not work for barometric pressure.
Is the data able to be downloaded into the MicroDAQ software for analysis? If so how is the data retrievable from the internal memory on the unit?
The data is viewable in the Supco software which must be purchased separately.  The logger connects to your PC via an interface cable (included with the software kit).  The part number for the software and cable kit is LLSU - ...
Can I get a different transducer? I need to record 0-10 PSIG
No, this logger only comes in a 0-500psi version.  The pressure sensor can't be changed for a different range. We offer the Monarch Track-It loggers in a closer range to what you are looking for - ...
What is the transducer interface made from? I have an application where I would like to measure the pressure of diesel
The 1/4" NPT pressure fitting is made out of stainless steel.
Can the instrument display the Pressure vs Time readings as a graph ? Can it do it "real time" ?
It will display pressure Vs time on the graph and in tabular data form.  It will not display data in real time as it is being recorded.
Does this unit graph and display in real time?
No, the logger data can only be viewed after it is recorded.
How long are the sensor lead wires? Can they be extended?
The pressure sensor comes with a 6 foot cable.  The temperature sensor is 15’. To the best of our knowledge the pressure sensor cable can’t be extended.  Supco states in their support information that the temperature sensor can be extended...
Can this be used on low pressure natural gas?
No, this device is not designed to be used with natural gas. We offer a pressure logger from Monarch Instruments that can be used for that application. ...
