Customer Questions
Is the software compatible with Windows 10?

Yes, it will work with Windows10.

Does this come with the calibration certificate or do you have to purchase that separate?

Calibration is an optional service that must be purchased separately from the logger.  It can be purchased at the same time as the logger using our shopping cart or if you already have the logger you can send it back to us to have it calibrated.

Can I get this with a two year calibration?

Yes, you can choose a 2 year calibration certificate if you state it in the notes field during checkout.

How does this work? Do I just leave it in the room to record the temp and then plug it into my computer to see the log?

The logger is first plugged into the PC using the built in USB plug and then configured (programed) using the free software.  Once this is done you can remove the logger and place it in the area you wish to monitor.  Once your recording session is finished you plug the logger back into the PC and use the software to download and view the recorded data.

Can the unit be submerged in water?

This logger has an IP67 rating from the manufacturer which means with the cap securely on the logger it is dust tight and protected against effects of immersion from 15cm to 1 meter for up to 30 min.

With that said we do not recommend this for applications where you plan to submerge the logger or expose it to condensing moisture over a long period of time.

If you need a logger to use underwater or outdoors we would recommend looking at something that is sealed and designed for use in that application.  These type of devices don't typically come with a display.
