The WIRELESS-ALERT-DC from Lascar Electronics is a cost effective system for monitoring door opens and closes and sends remote alarm notifications by email. These small, simple devices can be used on their own to monitor a room. Setting up the Wireless Alert-DC couldn’t be easier using the step-by-step guide in the free Wireless Alert mobile app, which is available for Android and iOS platforms. Setup involves simply entering your contact email address, connecting to your existing WIFI network, and selecting your options. Whenever the Alert-DC detects an Open or Closed Door it will send a notification email to the configured address as well as flash an LED indicator to visually notify any persons on hand. All this without the needing to pay for a cloud or alarm notification subscription plan. The Alert-DC can monitor open, closed doors or both and has a typical battery life of up to 2 years.
