The Wireless Alert-T from Lascar Electronics is a cost effective temperature monitoring system that sends remote alarm notifications by email. These small, simple devices can be used on their own or in conjunction with your existing data logger. This is a great option for adding remote alarm notifications to your existing vaccine monitoring data loggers or in any application where you need to know if temperatures go above or below a set limit. Setting up the Alert-T couldn’t be easier using the step-by-step guide in the free Wireless Alert mobile app, which is available for Android and iOS platforms. Setup involves simply entering your contact email address, connecting to your existing WIFI network, and selecting your upper and lower temperature limits. Whenever the Alert-T detects temperatures above or below the limits it will send a notification email to the configured address as well as flash an LED indicator to visually notify any persons on hand. All this without the needing to pay for a cloud or alarm notification subscription plan. The Alert-T can monitor temperatures ranging from -40°C to 125°C (-40°F to 257°F) and have a typical battery life of up to 2 years.
