MSR175Pro Shock Data Logger for High-Value and Heavy-Duty Transport

The MSR175Pro shock data logger (model 175B54T9AA6PRO) is engineered for monitoring mechanical shock and impact loads during the transport of high-value, high-mass cargo — including industrial equipment, machinery, aerospace components, medical devices, and other freight where damage during shipping can be costly to assess and difficult to prove. With a 3-axis acceleration sensor and selectable measuring ranges of ±10g, ±20g, or ±40g, it reliably captures even the most dynamic, short-duration impacts at sampling rates from 4 Hz up to 4,000 Hz. Advanced signal filtering — including anti-aliasing, decimation, and high-pass filters — separates true shock events from gravitational acceleration and vehicle motion, delivering clean, actionable data. The MSR175Pro stores over 2,000,000 measured values, including up to 1,000 shock events in a ring buffer plus an additional 1,000 events in a tamper-proof auxiliary memory that cannot be overwritten — providing an objective, traceable record for damage assessment, liability determination, and insurance claims. An internal temperature sensor monitors conditions from -20°C to +65°C throughout the journey. The IP65-rated, encapsulated housing and replaceable Li-SOCl₂ battery (minimum 2-year life) make it ready for demanding field conditions. The included MSR175 software package features the MSR Dashboard for easy configuration, MSR ReportGenerator for automatic report creation, and MSR ShockViewer for detailed shock event analysis.

Customer Questions
What is the difference between the ring buffer and the auxiliary memory?
The ring buffer continuously records the most recent 1,000 shock events — older events are overwritten as new ones occur. The auxiliary memory records events exceeding a second, higher threshold and cannot be overwritten. This ensures the most critical...
What is the smallest shock threshold the MSR175Pro can detect?
Shock thresholds can be set in increments as small as 0.5 g, giving you precise control over which events are recorded.
