Overview of the Reed Instruments R4700SD Data Logging Environmental Meter
The Reed R4700SD Data Logging Environmental Meter is a 6-in-1 environmental meter that measures air velocity, air temperature, ambient temperature, relative humidity, light, and contact temperature measurements. Additionally, the R4700SD can record sound when used with the optional R4700SD-SOUND adapter. The R4700SD features data hold, max/min functions, and an easy-to-read backlit LCD display. Air velocity is measured in m/s, ft/min, km/h, mph, or knots and temperature in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. The R4700SD can manually record up to 99 readings or automatically by selecting the desired sample rate from 1 to 3600 seconds. Raw data can be directly transferred from the SD card as an Excel file which can be viewed without needing any additional software. Optional accessories include a tripod and AC adaptor for continuous long-term monitoring.
